  • Linus Tech Expo (LTX) is a celebration of computer hardware and gaming hosted by the Linus Tech Tips team in Vancouver, Canada.

    We invite creators from YouTube and other platforms to join us in a celebration of tech, hardware and gaming!

    Our goal is to create an exciting and hands-on experience with a variety of workshops, interactive exhibits, tournaments, stage events, a BYOC LAN, giveaways and more!

  • If you’re traveling from outside of Canada and require a letter of acceptance in order to enter the country, you can use our official letter HERE.

  • Based on current public health guidelines from the province of British Columbia, you are not required to provide proof of vaccination to attend LTX. We will be following the recommendations from public health at the time of the event, and this policy is subject to change.

  • At this time masks are recommended, however they are not mandatory. We will be following the recommendations of our local government regarding mask policies.

  • We’ll update the website with info on booths and other activities as we approach our event dates. Ideally we’ll be able to update the website on a regular basis!

  • There are underground public parking lots at the Vancouver Convention Centre and nearby within walking distance. All lots are paid, and prices vary based on the company running the lot.

    • Children 6 and under can get in without a ticket, as long as they're with a paying guardian.

    • Children aged 7 - 13 must have a ticket and need to be accompanied by a paying guardian.

  • You are permitted to take pictures, video and live stream the event. However if you are blocking official LTX videos, broadcasts or photography you will be asked to move or stop your video/stream until you are not physically blocking any official productions.

  • There are a number of hotels and vacation rentals in the area at varying price points. Check out our accommodations page for more tips and recommendations.

  • Limited food will be available within the expo.

    There are a number of food options within walking distance of the Vancouver Convention Centre. The most popular being the Waterfront Centre food court just across the street.

  • If there is a complication with merchandise purchased at the event we will do our best to provide you with assistance on the issue. This will depend greatly on the item purchased and what condition it is in.

  • No, the Vancouver Convention Centre will not have Wi-Fi for general attendees.

  • You can check out our volunteer page for more information on how to sign up to be a volunteer at LTX.

  • The expo hall floor is accessible from the exhibition centre lobby via escalator or elevator. Most attendees will be routed by escalator, as we’d prefer to reserve the elevators for mobility equipment.

    The expo floor itself is primarily flat, and most booths will be easily accessible, there might be some exceptions, but they’ll depend on the nature of the activation.

    Seating will be available at different areas within the expo; stage seating, phone charging stations & rest area w/ tables.

  • While we do allow costumes/cosplay at LTX we have restrictions on real, fake or simulated weapons as well as full mask/face coverings.

  • No weapons are allowed into the event. However, general tools such as the lttstore.com screwdriver, an iFixit Kit, or other tools for PC assembly are permitted. Final decision will be at the discretion of event security.

    • We have a pop-up before checkout that makes purchasing for a group easier, but it will take longer to start the checkout process if you are interested in the VIP packages.

    Due to the fact that Creator Warehouse is a separate company/entity from LTX Expo Inc. we don’t have a way to allow lttstore.com gift cards to be used towards tickets for LTX 2023.

  • In most cases any purchases and add-ons are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please reach out to our support staff with any inquires via info@ltxexpo.com

  • Tickets should be automatically emailed to you once you’ve completed your purchase. These tickets will have your info and separate QR codes for check-in at the LTX 2023 Registration booth, and any Merch Packs or Office Tours

    The registration booth will be open Friday through Sunday and you must receive your badge from registration before entering the expo floor. No Badge, No Entry.

    • Tour tickets will only be scanned at our office or lab building for check-in.

    • Merch pack tickets can be redeemed at the lttstore.com booth on the expo floor.

  • Yes! The computer included with the Whale VIP ticket will be setup at the LAN so you can just sit-down and game with minimal setup. Ideally you should prepare to bring the computer home with you from the expo, but in the event that this is not possible, we can assist you in finding a local courier company to ship it home to you.

    • Canada requires a 5% Goods & Services Tax (GST) to be applied to all goods and services sold.

    • Event tickets are exempt from the standard Provincial Sales (PST) of 7%.

    • All VIP Packages will be charged 7% PST on the value of the merchandise included only, not the total package value.
