Transportation

Traveling by Air

When you arrive at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR), you will have many transport options, including public transit, ride-sharing, or car rentals. Your best options for accommodations will be anywhere that is within close proximity to the SkyTrain’s Expo or Canada lines. Either of these will bring you straight downtown to Waterfront Station, which is a short five-minute walk from the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Traveling by Uber, Lyft or Cab

Most ride hailing services/apps are available in Vancouver & the Greater Vancouver Area.

Traveling by Public Transit

When traveling around Vancouver, be sure to read up on the public transit services available in the city. You can check out the TransLink website which offers information on our transit system, fare pricing, zones, and more.

Travelling by Car

If you are travelling from the United States, there are multiple border crossings you can use, but keep in mind that while the Peace Arch and Abbotsford border crossings are open 24/7, the Aldergrove crossing is not. Depending on your point of entry, there are a few different routes for travelling to the convention centre. Those travelling on the I-5 from Seattle will find it best to continue on HWY 99 from the Peace Arch Border Crossing as that will take you to the convention centre, while those entering from other border crossings, should take a look at Google Maps to choose the best route.

It is no longer mandatory to use the ArriveCAN app when entering Canada. For more information on crossing the border, we suggest you check out the Canadian Border Services Agency Website when planning your trip.

Parking

LTX will be taking place in the West Building of the Vancouver Convention Centre, which has paid parking under it for any guests who drive or carpool to the event. Please keep in mind that all parking options are paid and prices will vary depending on your parking location and the company running the parking lot.

There are also a number of other public parking lots within walking distance of the expo, but free parking is (unfortunately) basically non-existent in Downtown Vancouver.
