Volunteering

Volunteering is an integral part of LTX. Work alongside LMG staff and other dedicated community members to turn LTX into an amazing experience for all attendees! We have a large variety of things to do at LTX, and we appreciate anyone who is willing to help out!

Volunteer FAQ

  • Volunteers at LTX help out with a large variety of games, tasks and activities throughout the expo to ensure that things run smoothly. Specific assignments will be based on your application and interests.

  • Volunteers will receive a Volunteer Merch Pack (Shirt, Lanyard and Water Bottle) and lunch during their volunteer shift.

  • Anyone over the age of 16 can apply to be a volunteer. Volunteers under the age of 18 will need to provide parental consent.

  • Volunteer shifts will mostly be either a full day or a half day so you can still spend some time doing what you want within the expo!

  • Volunteers who are scheduled for a full shift will be get a thirty minute lunch break with food provided.

  • Nope! Volunteers will not need a ticket to volunteer at LTX 2023.

  • Anyone chosen to join the volunteer team will be eligible for a refund of up to $60 USD on their original ticket purchase, which is the equivalent of a Two-day Expo Ticket.

    If you have a BYOC + Two-day Expo Ticket or any of the VIP packages, we will only provide a refund of $60. This way you can still retain access to the perks provided with your BYOC ticket.

  • Unfortunately, we won’t be able to compensate you if you have to pay for parking at the convention centre or elsewhere in Downtown Vancouver.
